Q&A: I created an Apple account to reserve an iPad. Do I need to create another account for iTunes?

Question by CakeLover1337: I created an Apple account to reserve an iPad. Do I need to create another account for iTunes?
I created one in the Apple store so I can reserve an iPad. I bought the iPad today and I was wondering if I need to make an iTunes account or if I login with the one I made at the Apple store. Right now, I’m up to the credit card step, using the same e-mail as I used to create the one in the Apple store.

That’s a good question and I really don’t know, but it’s probably two different things. If you prefer to use the same one, just try that. If it doesn’t let you, then you’ll know you have to create another one.

    I would use the same email address at iTunes that you used at the Apple website. I do believe the two sites are linked so that one ID/email can be used at both sites.
